Ben

Ben is the protagonist. The story is told through his eyes, garnished with his “british” sence of humour. He is a 13-year-old flying and fire-breathing dragon, the elder son in the family. Ben is one of these good guys who want to play fair, but often are under pressure to play foul. Ben often finds himself in a situation where things are not just black or white. He tries to keep the family motto “to not use your talents against others”, but it is not always that easy… As his father Broum is obsessed with his flying inventions and his mom Bella makes fun of everything, Ben often feels like the only adult in the family. He has his own problems, but he has to look after the twins too, in spite of their constant provocations and lack of principles. Ben often has to rescue the twins from the consequences of their mess. In turn, when he feels frustrated, his mischievous brothers help him to solve the problem… well, in their funny way…

Harry and Barthy

Harry and Barthy are about 9 years old twin brothers. They too have huge wings and fire-breath. Harry and Barthy are inventive, mischievous tricksters with quick and sharp minds and affinity towards any experiments. Their pranks and funny adventures are at the heart of each episode’s story.

Between them, Barthy considers himself to be the stronger, while Harry is the smarter one- the initiator and the creative mind behind “the operations”.

Harry and Barthy deeply admire Ben's morals, but enthusiastically provoke the older brother to violate his principles. Yet, they are always ready to defend him from “the others”, if needed.

Harry and Barthy even cleverly managed to use the family motto “to not use your talents against others“ as an excuse for their endless pranks. They are kind of like small Jesuits, always ready for fun :)

Broum - Ben's father

Ben’s father Broum is a green dragon, the first one in Dragonville to be born with a pair of enormous wings.

He tries to take it easy that he and his winged-fiery family are different from the other dragons. Broum has a small laboratory in the loft of the family house where he invents some flying devices as a hobby. Ben’s father wants to prove the benefits of flying for the whole dragon society. His discoveries often have unexpected applications... The twins love “to help” their father.

Broum is always absent-minded as he is occupied with his flying inventions and that leads to some hilarious misunderstandings. Despite that, Ben’s father always tries to look confident and behaves like the head of the family.

Broum works at vessel control at the Marine port tower of Dragonville.

Bella - Ben's mother

Bella is the mother of Ben and the twins Harry and Barthy.

Bella is a neat female dragon with normal, small wings. She differs from the other dragons in Dragonville because of her fire breath. Bella cannot completely control her fire power and sometimes she gets in comical trouble.

Bella looks regal, but playful and often irresponsible. She loves jokes and often enjoys the pranks, instead of disciplining her sons.

Bella is an architect and loves to design strange, unpractical things. Bella loves to visit her husband’s lab and to give him some irrelevant creative ideas that lead to funny consequences.

Other Dragons

In each episode, there is at least one antagonist, some opposite characters and some supporting characters.
